Was so excited to try this easy step by step cinnamon rolls recipe as soon as i came across my list of recipes.
Its one of the most rich fluffiest dough recipes ever and its so satisfying and easiest cinnamon rolls recipe when done properly and methodically.
This recipe requires some patience and little skills to shape the dough and the sweet cinnamon fillings.
But Easybake focus on making any kind of extensive recipe to easy simple steps such that anyone who loves pastries can give it a try.
Easy bake has made this recipe into 3 main steps

- 2 tsp instant or active dry yeast
Note – i just discovered that , the instant yeast can also be activated before incorporating
Yeast activation – Warm water ( not too hot and too cold ) , yeast & sugar mixture , creates the foamy layer
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 cups all purpose flour
To your warm water, add your sugar and yeast , mix and set aside for 10 to 15 minutes , until a foamy layer formed
In a bowl , add the milk , melted butter , egg , vanilla extract and sugar , whisk the mixture for a minute
Now the yeast will be activated
Add this yeast mixture to the egg milk mixture and slightly mix
Mix your Flour and salt well , add the flour mixture to the liquid mixture in parts
My dough took some extra milk to form , it varies accrodingly ( extra milk of 1/4 cup )
Transfer to a clean surface , dust with some flour and massage the dough for about 5 to 10 minutes
1st rise – this should probably take some 2 to 3 hours , depending upon your humidity level , advised to let in a warm place
2. Cinnamon filling
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of sugar
1 + 1/2 tbsp cinnamon powder ( you can also powder your cinnamon stick )
1/3 cup softened butter
Spread your dough batter to approximately of 9 * 15 inch size , i took my oven tray as a guidance and spread accordingly
Mix your brown sugar , sugar and cinnamon powder mixture
Spread the softened butter evenly on your dough layer and sprinkle your cinnamon mixture generously over the butter surface
Start rolling the sweet filled dough from the longer side , seal the roll with some water in the edge
Cut your dough into 16 equal halves using a sharp knife.
Make 4 big halves and again 4 small halves , such that you can end up with 16 equal rolls
Grease a square and round pan with some butter , pluck these rolls carefully and place with equal distance in your pans , without over stuffing in order for it to get doubled
2 rise – these should be left for aother 1 or 2 hours until you see the rolls little plumped or doubled
And finally you are set to bake these little plumpy cute rolls into your preheated oven
Preheat temp – 179 degree celsius and bake it for 30 minutes or until golden brown
